Meggean appreciates the complexities of each human and their stories, and how meaningful it can be to take ownership of one’s own narrative. She understands therapy as a collaborative process and finds that all folx have internal wisdom to reflect, process, heal, adapt, and grow. She strives to create a therapeutic space that fosters autonomy and authenticity.
She has vast experience working in the foster care system with siblings separated in care and kinship families, residential and PHP programs for adolescents struggling with mood and anxiety disorders, and providing individual, family, and parenting therapy. In addition to mood and anxiety, she is passionate about supporting queer folx, exploring identity/relationship dynamics, individuals with ADHD, and understanding trauma symptoms.
Meggean received her undergraduate degree at Arizona State University and graduate degree at University of Denver. She completed Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy training at Alchemy Community Therapy Center.
