How are you different from other ketamine providers?
Noma works to ensure that ketamine is only prescribed to appropriate patients and to mitigate the risk of diversion and dependence. We aim to help people who haven’t had much success with more traditional mental health treatments but who are not categorized as severely mentally ill.
Our clinical leaders, including our CEO, are experienced clinicians with a deep commitment to science-informed practice that is in the best interest of the patient. We have made a deliberate decision to focus heavily on what the research shows will have the best outcomes. In our case, this means a focus on unleashing the potential of psychotherapy through ketamine. While ketamine can be effective short-term, research shows that patients often relapse in as little as 2-3 weeks.¹ However, ketamine combined with psychotherapy maximizes and prolongs its benefits.²¹
